Resview 3.x (reposted from Uncle Bob's thread)
Greetings
Just got a new S9 and as a result was interested in finding out if it was possible to get a copy of Resview. The CPAP.com shop doesn't seem to have it available and then I found Uncle Bob's posting. Much appreciated for sure! I downloaded it and have a few issues and thought maybe someone might be able to give me a hand. First of all the software is displaying in German. I assume it read the location of my pc and displayed accordingly. Normally there is an "option" to set the language to another but I wasn't able to find it. If anyone has a clue?
The other thing is that when I started the program I got this error:
intf!=0 @
C:\PROGRA~1\Borland\CBuild~1\Bin\..\include\vcl\UtilCls.H/2868
Press [Y]es to terminate, [N]o to continue and [C]ancel to debug
I haven't a clue what it means. I hit [N] and the program loaded. I have an SD slot on my notebook and tried to export the data on my SD card to the program but it didn't recognize my SD slot. Does the program only work with one of the Resmed card reader devices or is there some way to get it to read from my SD slot?
So that's where I stand on this at the moment. If anyone can help with any of these issues it would be wonderful.
Oh, and as far as I was able to determine the latest version of Resview is 3.7. Is it impossible as an unlicensed and uninitiated human to get a hold of it?

You are confusing Resmed's ResScan software and Respironics' EncoreViewer software. The highest version of ResScan I am aware of is ResScan 3.13

I don't think so. Google Rescan 3.7 and see what you get.

Look at Uncle_Bob's latest download option. It"s a later version, not the one that you mentioned. On my computer it says 3.13.

Try ResScan 3.13. (Two s's...)dkeat wrote:I don't think so. Google Rescan 3.7 and see what you get.
Click 'Members' next to your 'Logout' link. Find Uncle_Bob. Go to the bottom of his signature. Find the link for ResScan 3.13. I hope this helps.

Yes Resscan 3.13. If you read my original posting you will see that I downloaded Resscan 3.13 a few days ago. I'm in fact looking for help with Resscan 3.13. I'm also curious to know if anyone knows where the latest version can be obtained.

resscan 3.13 is the latest version of the software. I have not been able to make it work. It gets in a install loop and never finishes.

Yup, I ran into that, left my 'puter on all night and it was still "looping" in the morning. I think, if I remember correctly, that if you are using Win XP as I was, you need to do some type of XP update. I'm vague on this 'cause I just gave up and had my 'puter guru do the update and the install.

Re: Resview 3.x (reposted from Uncle Bob's thread)
Okay. I'm confused now. I realized I titled this thread as Resview 3.x when I guess it should have been Resscan 3.x. Anyway, there does seem to be a Version of Resscan 3.7 out there and here is a thread from this forum discussing it:
viewtopic/t36911/Resscan-37.html
As far as I am aware a Version 3.7 is a later (more advanced) version than 3.13 although the actual difference might be academic. In any case I haven't been able to get Resscan 3.13 to load data from my SD card and that is what I was really trying to learn by posting this thread.

13 does come after 7, and it's perfectly reasonable for a version numbering scheme to reflect that. Since it's clear that people get confused (is it 3.1.3 vs. 3.7.0? Is it 3.13 vs. 3.07?), ResMed could probably have chosen a less ambiguous naming convention.

Okay. Well I've got that cleared up. Now all I need to do is find out why I can't run it.

Maybe a bad install or bad download? Have you tried just getting another download and install again to see if same error pops up?dkeat wrote: Now all I need to do is find out why I can't run it

Try using the same url, but changing the link to reflect '3.12' instead. Download and install that instead. I couldn't get 3.13 to work either, so I reinstalled 3.12. Huh. I thought I was the only one who couldn't get it to install right.dkeat wrote:Okay. Well I've got that cleared up. Now all I need to do is find out why I can't run it.

Hello Dream Diver
I tried doing what you suggested and if I actually understood you correctly it didn't work. I copied the link into a new browser window and manually changed the 3.13 to 3.12 and hit enter. The browser reported that no such page exists.
Perhaps you did it differently?
