Can't get Encore 2.2.14.0 to start

Post by Uncle mIlty » Sat Mar 12, 2011 3:08 pm

I have found a copy of Encore 2 (version 2.2.14.0).
I installed it, got to and entered the first log in info ok, and changed the password as it requested. I used "password2"
When I try to log in I get this error message...
Specified argument was out of the range of valid values.
Parimeter name: MaxWidth cannot be more than MInWidth
I have a WinXP sp3 computer with a Philips 23E monitor, a 23" LCD monitor. I tried changing the screen settings but that didn't help, it's set at 1920x1080 normally, but I doubt that the screen settings are the problem anyway. I was just grasping at straws.
I can read the SD memory card fine with my computer and I up loaded a few file sets to http://www.hoolehan.com/onkor/ and did see results, but I am very new to looking at the data so want to use my own computer to start with.

I have a Philips REMstar Auto with A flex and a System one humidifer.

After my first year with the device I don't seem to be getting the same amount of rest I did a few months ago and I want to learn more about my "breathing profile" to see if I can work with the machine to get better results.

Any advice is welcome.

I have no idea why that error message will pop up. Sounds like a software bug to me but I am not that much of a computer guru. I don't have Pro 2.2 though I have Pro 2.4xx 32 bit version. Wonder if it was a bad install or bad download.
Maybe try the other version?

I have no idea where I got the program from, but I have a brand new machine that uses SD cards instead of those smart cards so it seemed like a good time to start to figure out my breathing. As I said, I am not getting the same rest I was say 6 months ago, and I wonder if the new machine is set up ecactly as the old one was. I have no idea what the settings were but if I can see my "events" it might be a place to start.
I know my pressure has to be set at 20, and my ramp starts at 4, which I find too low.

If someone can direct me, viva PM of course, to where I can get a copy of 2.4 that would be great.

Any chance I could get the same PM? (assuming it works for M-series)

It will work with the M Series machines. I have M series APAP.

The reports though will be just like you see with the Pro 1.8. Our machines don't gather the data that the System One machines do
so the reports are what we always saw with the older version.

Check you PM box. You can always use Pro 2.4xx now and should you ever get a System One machine to use you will already have the software.

Well maybe it will be more compatible with Win7 than 1.8 was. Back in the day I had to write a tutorial on how to get it to install Alas, I am with the M-series Auto for another 3 years.. I got mine in early 2009 from the sleep doc via insurance, and they came out with PR one later that year I think. It does a fine job for what I need it for. Thanks for the PM!

Pro 2.4xx may work better with Windows 7. I have Vista so I can't really say. I do have Pro 1.8 on the other computer but it is also Vista. No problems with either version for me.

I got my M series on my own in May 09 before the PR System One came out. I could still use my insurance I suppose because even my backup is the M series APAP. My out of pocket was less than my co pay. If I could sell my back up, I might be tempted to finally utilize my insurance and get a System One but I think I would end up still less out of pocket if I just got one from cpapauction. Then PR came out with the "latest" version and now I might prefer to have it. Will have to wait a little longer till those hit the auction.
Decisions, decisions.....

Let me know if you run into trouble with PRO 2.4xx.
