Hello,

As far as tube holders, I have looked at a lot of them, I decided to make my own, and i can tell you for me I will not sleep without one.

Before I made my Tube stand, I had A LOT of Leaks, because the tube would move, side to side and up, But mainly lower, this would distort the soft mask, and cause leaks, and lot of them.

This has helped to Greatly reduce leaks to a minimum. i get a much better night sleep and sleep the whole night without waking up because of a leak.

The Pro's;
The tube holder i made Holds the tube in two places, 1st place; is at about 4 inch back on the tube from where the tube connects to the mask tube, this connection keeps the lower part of mask from distorting, due to tube movement, or tube hanging to low.
The 2nd place; the tube is held is up over my head, this get the tube out of the way.
Sorry listed some of the pro's above.

I made mine out of 1/4" diameter Stainless Steel Rod, It slips in between the mattresses while in use to hold the mask at the two points, I also use it to hold my Mask up away from laying on the bed while it is not in use. Mine comes in from the side of the bed but is positioned back towards the back/headboard area.

The Cons;

I have not had any problems.

No body Makes a tube holder that holds the tube in Two places, that i have found, and this what is needed for a great night sleep. and less leaks

I have found that less leaks means More energy and a better following day.

Any more questions, feel free to ask.

Hi, take a look at http://www.pur-sleep.com. There is a very nice hose boss there that works really well.

Best regards,

Bought a plant hanger, the kind that hangs on the wall and the hook for the plant is about 4 to 6 inches out. Turned it sideways and screwed it to my headboard, cost me a whole $1.00. In my motorhome I just screwed in a cup hook and use elastic (the kind you use in clothing, not elastic band) to hang my hose. Do a search on "hose hangers" and you will find tons of ideas that cost nothing or very little.
Started cpap in 2010.. still at it with great results.

i made my own too. I just put a large cup hook in the wall and made a loop of "velcro brand velstrap" and threaded the hose through it. In my room the S9 is directly behind my head on a nightstand that is about level with my head on the pillow.
these velstraps are 18"x 1" and I purchased them in my local hardware store. they come in a set of 2 so I might try attaching in 2 places.

Search this forum for "hose management". You will find instructions (with pictures) for several homemade hose hanging systems.

Or if you wait about 5 minutes, Rested Gal will probably do it for you.

I used a couple of cup hooks on my headboard for over 3 years -- and it worked okay.
This winter I was looking on eBay and found one that was less than $20.00 (free shipping) that holds it up out of the way and it allows it to swivel so that I can move more without it tangling as much. I really like it and it was well worth the money spent.

It is lightweight, disassembles easily for travel, very compact. It could probably be made cheaper -- but I don't have the tools to make one.
