Quattro leak tip

Post by SnoozyQ » Mon Mar 07, 2011 2:02 pm

Just wanted to post this in case anyone wanted to try it. I've had issues with leaks at the bridge of the nose and at the chin. So far one thing that is working right now, is to stuff the liner with paper towel, just at the bridge, so it makes that flap stand out, instead of floppy and falling inward.

It creates a cushion for my nose and stops the leak there. The flap is already pushed out so the air can't find a little room to push through.
Then I can turn the dial all the way out, so there's less pressure around my nose and a better fit at my chin.

Snoozy, thanks for the tip...I've been going mad for the last week and a half changing masks and hoses, trying to lessen the leakage...

I'm trying this tonight with the other commenters...

Thank you for the great idea. It worked perfectly and eliminated the red mark on my nose.
