Doctor in San Francisco?

Post by js_insf » Sun Mar 06, 2011 9:57 pm

My second post tonight...

I am having extraordinary trouble finding a good doctor to help me with my CPAP treatment. After eight months, I feel worse than I did before beginning treatment. More tired, more burnt out, more headaches, and increasing memory problems.

When my doctor reviewed my sleep data (after months of problems with her retrieving it...don't ask), she said my numbers say I'm doing "great." I'm having almost zero apneas. She has no idea what's going on, and said to get a physical. I did, and there were no problems.

Does anyone out there live in the San Francisco Bay Area, and is happy with their doctor? I could use a recommendation. Thank you again.

No help with doctors--I'm with Kaiser, but have you or your doctor taken a really good look at your data???

I was having great numbers and terrible symptoms. When we really LOOKED at my data, it was clear my pressures were "bumping up against the ceiling". Simply raising my pressure a little wiped out the miserable symptoms. I'm not saying you should definitely raise your pressures, but it bears a close look at your data even when the numbers seem OK.
