SU.......I'm awaiting my tickets. Please feel free to email them, unless you must FedEx them. I heard you were picking up the tab somewhere. I've PM'ed my address for you. My bag is packed. Thank you for the kind invitation.

PS....I do not look like my avatar either.

What a vicious rumor Mars started!

Thank goodness! But why did you pick that as your avatar? Long skinny neck (the better to emulate a collapsing straw)?

Got Kevlar?

Every day, we'll go out on Tour (some people call it Patrol"), "interact" with some of the locals, do a lot of "pyrotechnic" stuff.

It's going to be GREAT!

OTOH, depending on well the "interactions" go, there may be a few instances of "unexplained, unplanned leaks" on some of the downloads in the AM (Note to Self: Bring Bondo.)

Not Muffy....are you bringing all of "your people"? That should increase our numbers dramatically! Can all of your people stay in one cabin, or do you argue among yourselves? Do tell me how you travel............

Whoops.

NM.

I guess I read that line a little too quickly.

Upon closer review, it says "Mission for Mercenaries".

Oh well. Yay Galveston. Can't wait to get a T-shirt.

C'mon SU - you know I am a gentle, compassionate, caring, honest, loving, helpful, always right and never wrong member of this Forum.

And never spread rumours unless they have a chance of being accepted

BTW - I like to believe I am my Avatar - at least in spirit

Now, would a beautiful kitten like that start a vicious rumour

cheers

SU's idea of Houston makes sense.

A CPAP.com seminar. Guest speakers and displays, charge admission, fit masks, flog merchandise, sell souvenir trinkets. A real hoot!

OK: Everyone thinks that this is a joke. But what would be wrong with a real convention. This could be a classy event with guest speakers: Dr. Krakow, The doc from New York. sleep nation, J & C. Maybe the big 3: Respironics, Resemed and Intellipap would also participate. Workshops from some of the best on this forum would include: Hands on software training. , running Xpap's on batteries, the quest for the perfect mask.xpap diets, ETC. Feel free to add ideas. This could start out small and grow beyond your wildest dreams. Just think of the opportunity for the big guys. Where else could they preach to the converted. I would think that some companies might be interested in sponsoring the event. It has to be held somewhere with a nice climate!! I would gladly participate and even help get it off the ground.

What you might want to do is ask Tracy at TAS about the logistics of running an event.

Wait, did I say charge admission?!

P.S. Johnny & Carolyn get into work Monday morning only to discover that we've planned a cpaptalk reunion at their place.

--And, of course, a special invite goes out to Devilbiss, of course.
The convention sounds so great.
I would like to get into a brainstorming/lab rat session with the creative folks here to come up with a comprehensive 3-D mask sizing system.
It would be so great to be able to map a persons face --three-dimensionally-- to determine what masks will work.
--And if no match exists, to use 3-d printers to make custom cushions for their favorite mask.
