Hi all,
I was given a S9 Elite machine back in January and it worked pretty well at the beginning. Lately though I have been getting higher AHI numbers.
I called the sleep clinic and talked with the daytime tech (Great People btw) and told him my situation. He asked if I could drop my card of with my RT and I told him I could just email him my patient file from Rescan He sounded a little surprised by this but I told him that I was the type of person to take charge of things (within reason) and all of this was available on the internet.
Well the email thing didn't work because I don't think his email would allow a zip file attached. I was near the clinic anyway so I stopped in with my data card. These people are so great, he gave me a new card in exchange so that I could continue with my data uninterrupted. Also set me up with a new Quattro FX
Well after reviewing my data, and trying a few things I asked if I could be upgraded to an auto.
I am going in for surgery in 9 days and want to have every advantage possible to aid in my recovery. So, with that said......I was approved for the auto.
I will have it tomorrow !
It sure is nice to work with great people who really care.
I'm getting an S9 Autoset...Yay
Re: I'm getting an S9 Autoset...Yay
MiPilot, I think that you will love the S9 Autoset. I just switched from the Elite to Autoset last Monday and I am thrilled with it. The pressure on the Elite was set at 10 and the range on the Autoset is set for 8 to 12. The pressure on the Autoset (95% number) has been 11.9 and my AHI numbers have been the lowest ever. A few times it has been below 1.0 and the rest of the time under 2.0. The numbers with the Elite were usually in the 3 to 4+ range (a couple of times it was less than 2). If you like this machine even half as much as I do, you will be very happy. Good luck!
