Just make sure it says autoset or elite not escape when they give it to you. Some DME will try this and hope you dont know any better

This is true. The Escape will have a data card in it but it only will show compliance (hours of use). So just because a machine has a data card doesn't mean it is fully data capable. Also some DME's will say "yeah, it collects data" but the data is Hours of Use.

Best thing is to do your homework and know the different models.
