I had been doing a lot of reading here before I posted my first question so I somewhat knew of Snoredog's reputation. I was kindly welcomed and given some good responses, but my first PM was from Snoredog and I was so "nervous" about opening it!! All he wanted to do was tell me he understood my situation would be difficult and to "calm down and take a deep breath". He didn't offer any gentle hand-holding, but he made his point in one short paragraph and I tried to follow his advice. I'm sorry I didn't have much time to see him in action.

I haven't dropped by here for quite a long time and was saddened to learn that SnoreDog is gone. He was one of the no-frills good guys.

Spammers, trolls, and idiots have OSA too.

And it's hard to wear a mask without a face.

I'm just sayin'.

I won't defend the spammers. And the only troll I ever liked was "who." But I think we idiots deserve our fair representation on this forum.

That [being] said, I sure miss the big lovable, entertaining, helpful rascal too, snoredoggonit.

His wisdom really helped me when I first started on the hose. Rest in peace my dear friend.
