Hello !
I am using my brand new Resmed S9 autoset since a week I am trying to analyse results in ResScan, I was wondering what "95th percentile" is ?
My pressure is set 5-12, the results for my first week are:
* Pressure *
Median: 5.5
95th percentile: 7.2
Maximum: 7.8
The manual says : 95th Percentile: The value exceeded during the selected range for 5% of the time. but I don`t really understand what it means, can anyone clarify please? Does that mean that for 5% of the night, my pressure has been over 7.2 ?
Also, does anybody experience bad aerophagia with this CPAP? I had a REMStar Plus Aflex and since i've switched to the S9 I wake up with lots of air in my stomach, causing me to burp and fart... My leaks are perfect, so I think the CPAP is pushing some air into my stomach instead of into my lungs. This is very annoying!
Thank you

Yes. 5% of the night your pressures were over 7.2, up to a maximum of 7.8. In short, if this data persists, you are using 5-8 and aren't hitting the ceiling of 12 that you've set your APAP to.FLiP wrote: The manual says : 95th Percentile: The value exceeded during the selected range for 5% of the time. but I don`t really understand what it means, can anyone clarify please? Interesting that you asked that, because I have just recently started having problems after months without issue (using S9 Autoset the whole time). I can't think of anything that has changed on my setup other than weight loss, but I'm in the same boat.FLiP wrote: Also, does anybody experience bad aerophagia with this CPAP?
