Tony
I have nasal/sinus congestion so I need to use a FFM. Since starting therapy in late October, I have tried - in order - the Respironics ComfortFull 2, the Respironics ComfortGel, the F&P Forma and the ResMed Quattro. If I went totally by cpap.com's ratings, I should be ecstatic about the Quattro, almost as ecstatic about the Forma, be satisfied with the ComfortFull, and be meh with the ComfortGel. But my face has a different ratings system, and the ComfortGel is and remains my mask of choice. I'm keeping the Quattro around as an emergency backup, and I will continue to try adjusting it to my face, but the ComfortFull was returned and I quickly agreed to swap the Forma.
Faces and masks are all different, and the goal is to find what works best for you. Your mask is the key to successful therapy. There's no need to pair a particular company's xpap machine with its line of masks. Pick and choose what works best for you!
