Sp02 Contec CMS50f

I ordered a CMS50F and it arrived today. I have followed the instructions and installed the software, but when I plug it into my computer, the software is not seeing it. I have verified in device manager that the device is showing up and have reinstalled the drivers, but it never sees it. I am using the USB cable that came with it, as I have seen some posts saying that you have to use the cable that came with it in order for it to work.

Anyone have any ideas? I really don't want to have to deal with the people in Hong Kong that I purchased it from. It is a brand new unit. Functionally, everything works, I just can't get it to talk to my computer. I have tried 3 different computers, all of them are running Windows 7.

My unit is different, but made by the same company. My software came with two programs. SpO2review and SpO2. Have you tried the SpO2 program (red heart)? This program tracks in real time. If you can get it working, the other program should also work. I am running Windows 7 32 bit.

Hi,
The software that comes with the units gives alot of people problems. Try going to my site http://www.pulseoxstore.com and go to the manuals/downloads tab. You can download the previous version of the software and that should take care of your problem. The newer version of the software has some kind of glitch that will not recognize the correct com port or something. Try that and if you are still having issues, shoot me an email. The address is posted all over the site.

Speaking of Comm ports, my software shows Comm 3 when I run it.

I forgot, on that same manuals/downloads tab, there is a link to a pdf file for download help. Sometimes if you don't follow the exact order, you will have issues. Try looking at the download help because it is much easier to understand than the manual that comes with the unit.

Thanks for your quick reply pulseoxstore! I am up and running. Now I just have to figure out how to get my fiancee to wear it for a few nights to see if her O2 is dropping when she stops breathing constantly.
