I would say absolutely, unless told to do otherwise by your doctor.

I have one now and am still using my machine. My doctor knows I have BiPap and what my pressure is, so I figured she would mention it if I shouldn't use the machine with an ear infection.

Not an expert, but I think you should use it. But if you have a cold in which your nose is clogged severely, then I think you should not use it because air might not get in there. But check with your doctor. Sometimes is more frustrating using the machine. But when it works well, it's great. But at times, my experience is that not using it is better than trying to use it because of the problems I've had with the equipment. But anyway, I would go ahead and use it if I were you. Good luck with it.

I just survived my first sinus infection on cpap. I was able to use my cpap every night. It was a life-saver! It would take a few moments each night for the pressure to clear my nose enough to let me breathe, but it was SO worth it!

just my experience...
