F&P HC230 manual???

Post by SleepyGeorge » Fri Dec 16, 2005 9:09 pm

Does anyone have a copy of the clinician manual for the HC230. A friend of mine who does not know how to use the internet needs to know how to use her machine. Her DME pretty much dumped it on her and said goodbye so I am trying to help her out. Her problem is that she does not know how to turn on the heat for the humidifier??? I have no clue since I am using a remstar..Thanks for any help at all.....

I *think* the 230 series machines are all the same. If so, once the machine is powered on, the up and down arrows control the setting for the humidifier. Options are 1 - 5, with 1 being lowest and 5 highest. Turn on the machine, and once it is through its opening screen, press the up or down arrow to reach the desired level. The 220 series had controls on the front and the HH was operated by a dial, I think. The 230s went to buttons on the top. Set the HH before pressing ramp, if using that function. Hope this helps!

If that doesn't do it, let me know. I have a 234 model and they should be similar.....

Take a look at ebay or yahoo auctions. Thats where the EVIL DMEs sell the manuals.
