pad a cheek liner center hole

Post by pbsd » Thu Jan 20, 2011 1:52 pm

Hi all,

I just received a liner from pad a cheek for my Mirage Quattro FF. It was easy to put on but I am curious about the center hole. It seems really small. It cover most of my mouth in the mask. Is it supposed to do that? Am I supposed to cut it?

Thanks again for your feedback!

I have the same liner for the same mask and I trimmed the opening at the bottom of the hole. Be very careful not to trim to much as it will ruin the liner. If you go to the pad a cheek web site there is something there that mentions this.

Dear pbsd,

I ordered one for my husband and I did have to cut the large triangular center hole. I trimmed it ever so slightly on the sides and slightly more on the bottom to allow for adequate nose/mouth breathing. The trimming was very slight - it is very easy to cut too much, so please be careful. I trimmed it and then put it on and tried it on him and got his feed back and then trimmed again ever so slightly toward toward the bottom for him. It covers all of the silicone so that the silicone cushion does not touch his face - only the padacheeck mask liner does.

Hope this helps!

Yes Jersey girl is right be careful not to over-trim. I just checked back on the PAC website and I didn't see anything there about it. But if I remember correctly there was something in the packaging that talked about the possible need to enlarge the opening. Good Luck. It works great.
