Just Wondering
Hi There! Yes, I'm a newbie to the whole CPAP Community Forum and all and am most definitely finding the information here extremely helpful...still trying to learn all the ins and outs of the posting, but I guess that will come in time with trial and error. But anyway, sorry, I got off the topic there...what I was wondering....two questions.....Does the diagnosis of severe sleep apnea increase the likelihood of having to be on constant oxygen therapy later in life? and How or in what way might CPAP therapy affect a person who is pregnant?

Having Severe sleep apnea should not necessarily mean that you will have to use oxygen later in life. Usually CPAP or VPAP therapy should be able to keep you breathing like you don't have sleep apnea. Also CPAP therapy is fine to use while pregnant. Really all it does is keep your airway from closing off so it would be important to use while pregnant if you have sleep apnea. More oxygen during the night is definately good while pregnant.
