has anyone tried the AEIOmed Everest?

Post by golfson » Thu Dec 15, 2005 12:05 am

I'm about to start frequent travel in an RV and won't always have AC power available. I'm wondering if the Everest and its battery pack are as good as they sound? Anybody out there that has used one? There aren't any dealers in my town so I can't even look at one. I use my Remstar Core faithfully but the DME tells me I'll have to buy a $200 inverter from the company or risk having my warranty voided. $200 is a lot for a 400 watt inverter, about 4 times the price of a Xantrex 400 watt inverter. Sounds kind of fishy to me. I'd rather spend the $200 toward a battery pack.

hmmm.... apparently no one?
Seems odd. Usually there is SOMEONE that is brave enough or curious enough to try out just about any bit of CPAP technology ever invented.

I was also hoping to hear some feedback on this unit. I am looking for a smaller unit to use when I travel and this one caught my eye on CPAP.com. Hopefully someone that has purchased this unit will see this post and reply.
