Hello,
I have been using the Swift FX for 4 months now, and it is working for me and is more comfortable than I had expected. But I would like to also have a full face mask for when I have a cold, and just so I don't always have to ONLY breathe through my nose. I would also not mind a break from the chinstrap I have to use with the FX.
I am on BiPAP therapy, I started out with pressures of 18 and 14, but they were turned down a bit. I am not 100% sure what the pressures currently are, but I believe it is 14 and 10. I tried the Mirage Liberty and I tried the Quattro but could not get them to seal at the full pressure. Lots of what I have seen referred to as "face farts."
Does anyone have a recommendation for a full face mask that really seals well? Perhaps one with a really thick gel cushion would be helpful? Does the Mirage Ultra do any better than the Quattro at this?
Thank you for previous suggestions, such as sewing velcro to the back of the head strap on the FX, and removing the comfort wraps, they mostly seemed to add bulk and lumpiness.
Thank you!
Jill

Rather than tell you what I like, I believe hands on shopping might be fun. Using the suitcase/local services button search for the DME's in your area that sell masks (some are on the list because they sell things like crutches). Remember to bring a copy of your script if you would like to buy one outright or purchace online and save some cash. Or you can look at tvnation.com/trialprogram to see if that mask is on their list to test one for a week.
