Merry Christmas

Post by LilBuckaroo » Wed Dec 14, 2005 3:45 am

I am not trying to turn this forum into a political forum, and may get chastised for this, but I must say it. As y’all likely know, I am from the “old school” and not exactly politically correct. I have heard Merry Christmas for about 58 years. I am not ready for Happy Holidays and a Holiday Tree. It is, and always will be, Merry Christmas and a Christmas Tree to me.

Enough politicizing for this post. That said y’all have a “Merry Christmas” and enjoy your “Christmas" Tree!!

Thanks for reminding me!
I've still got lots of Christmas shopping to do!
And Christmas cards. OMG, Christmas Cards!
I'm soooo behind!

Merry Christmas to you too!

Amen! I have no objection to celebrating other religion's holidays but the whole point of Christmas is the Christian's birth of Jesus Christ. What's wrong with that? (This from someone who gave up on Christiananty, and other religions, some years ago).

BTW: Spent my senior year of high school in Thorsby. Graduated Clanton High '58.
