Humidifier H5i water reservoir tray

Post by Homer1959 » Sat Jan 01, 2011 4:33 pm

I realised while going through the documentation that the water tray is supposed to be replaced after something like 6 months. Excuse me but I am not buying that, its totally ridiculous or there is something I dont understand. The aluminum and the plastic can last many years if you take good care of it.

Do you know somebody that have seen the reservoir turning bad at the expiration date ?

If its only a cleaning issue then I will cut the plastic top with my dremel all around the perimiter and I will install 1 or two small hinges, I dont ,mind to spend money but I need a good reason

Wow !!! Thanks a lot for your link, much more easier than cuttin it with the dremel

Do you know if the plastic can survive the dishwasher ? Not that it is necessary but I'm just cirious

I wouldn't put the plastic parts in the dish washer.
