I sent you a PM with an attempt to get you into the clinician's menu so you can change the GMT Offset and hopefully fix your clock issues.
Getting on a regular sleep schedule is essential to me if I'm ever going to get out of this swamp and begin living like a normal human being. It is astounding to me that people actually get to jobs at on time, every day, at a regular hour. I have no idea when I am going to fall asleep and when I am going to wake up!
How long have you been in that swamp? Did it start with CPAP/bipap, or was it going on before that? When did you go on antidepressants relative to starting CPAP? It might help if you wrote a chronology of when the various things occurred. You might then see a connection, such as getting sleepier after antidepressants were begun, or some such.
Sleeping Ugly, I hadn't thought about the issue of tolerance, but I think you are right. I had built up a pretty high tolerance for the Adderall, and after I took a break from it I probably did have a more intense effect. But your story of taking 400 mg of Provigil, wow! That is a whole lotta Provigil.
I used to be on 800mg! Anyway, it is not so helpful to me that I'm suddenly so sensitive to stimulants because I walk around tired, but then if I take stimulants, I can't sleep well that night, then the next night I need more...
I do want to cycle down from the anti-depressants eventually, but I read the post the Golden Rule--only change one thing at a time--so I'll give my new settings a chance to work first.
I would definitely NOT taper off antidepressants now, for the reasons you mentioned, and because you say you are quite depressed.

Some sleep doctors are psychiatrists, and for people with comorbid mental health issues, sometimes a doctor like that can be very helpful.
As per SWS' suggestion, I uploaded some reports to Google docs, and I would be thrilled to receive some coaching!
I see a lot of centrals, which seem to be driving your high AHI. Unfortunately, I do not know much about centrals; fortunately, others here do!
Never put your fate entirely in the hands of someone who cares less about it than you do. --Sleeping Ugly

Thanks Laura/Rested Gal! I love your Lab Rat Award! When I first got my diagnosis in August I came across it, and loved it. I was even inspired to make my own hose holder out of pvc pipe fittings and a piece of white melamine covered particle board. I'll have to post a photo sometime.

It is 7 degrees here, so we're definitely freezing.

SWS has been very generous, and I'm grateful for the message boards and all the help I've received here.

I will keep you posted.

Thanks,
Lara
