Is there no audio with that clip or is my computer missing a codec or something?

Do you have an ETA for availability of this mask in the US?

Dane, thanks for showing the mask, looks mighty interesting, although my husband didn't do well with the Quattro and does well with the UMFF for 2years so I'll try to avoid "mask envy" unless there are really rave reviews coming.

I don't get audio either and I know my computer is not missing any codecs.

More information and videos are available at the Resmed website, but you have to tell them you are in a location other than the U.S. Try the link: http://www.resmed.com/au/products/quatt ... c=patients and click on the video link on the right side.

Now, if we only knew when this would be available in the U.S.! I haven't been able to find that out.

That looks like a nice mask. It looks like they took some cues from other manufacturers with the exhaust vent looking similar to the F&P and the "frame" looking similar to the PMI probasics "zzz mask". I'll be first in line to try one. Looks very nice.

I checked out the videos and information.

It looks alot more comfortable to wear. Everything I want in a FF mask - no prongs up my nose like a hybrid, yet the clear line of vision so I can read a bit before falling to sleep.

However, what a pain it appears to take apart all those peices to clean! AND put back together....

Just my luck it won't be out until my deductible resets. ( Jan 1, 2011)
Maybe I don't really need it. Or it won't fit. Oh, well.

I sent an e-mail to Resmed customer service and got back talk to my DME company to find out when they will have it. So nothing definitive. I guess its a secret until it gets here.

I had sent an email inquiry on the Resmed website about a week ago, and tonight got a reply.

"Unfortunately, we are not privy to release date at this time for the Quattro FX. Please check back in on our website for updates, at http://www.resmed.com.

So don't go asking Santa for one unless you live in the right places!

I have this mask...for the past two days. So far, once it is tightened down, it appears to resist dislodging during night-time movement. Given that it encompasses the mouth, keeping my mouth shut during the night will not be a problem. If it prevents dryness in my mouth, then it will have passed my test. It will replace a nasal pillow system and chin strap I am currently using.
