Leaks vs. AI's

Post by paulak » Sat Dec 11, 2010 11:03 pm

When I use a chinstrap, my leaks go down, but my AI's and HI's go up. If I'm getting 0 to .2 in AI's, should I worry about leaks? Thanks!

If your leaks are too high the machine won't record data(events) properly. Ya gotta have the leaks fixed, THEN work on getting the AHI down.
Your machine will show more Hypopneas than other machines. Cut the HI in half and see how it looks.
