S9 Elite Usage Data gone awry

Post by smanning » Wed Dec 08, 2010 12:30 pm

Hi Fellow Apenics,

I have started having problems in the last few days with my Resmed S9 Elite where the usage screen is telling me I slept 20.1 hours the night before. I've tried powering off and powering back on, I've tried removing the SD Card while it's powered up, and then reinserting, sometime I can get it to tell me i slept 1.7 hours.

Also, when I read the SD card with my Rescan software - it shows the last 2 days of data are completely missing.

I'm afraid I'm going to lose ALL my data with any kind of reset... Has anyone experienced this or know of a method to get the data to start behaving again?

In terms of powering-off, have you tried removing power entirely (unplugging from the wall socket or unplugging the cable from the back of the S9). If not, give that a try.

Cheers,

Bill

Hi Bill,

Yes I am removing the power cord from the back of the device. I've seen some odd behavior with the sleep summary screen before but sometimes it just clears up. I travel with the device often, I wonder if the constant powering on and off is a problem for it. It has about six months of data on it to date... i assume there are lots of S9 Elite people out there with more data than that?

Does it make any difference if you remove the SD card before unplugging the unit from the socket? I never do. Just wondering.
