Re: System One bipap auto not saving waveform
Has this problem been resolved or diagnosted further? I have EncorePro 2.4 and am not getting waveforms consistently. I got 4 in a row, a couple days skipped, a couple more days, hit and miss. I haven't gotten any waveforms in 5 consecutive days. The SD card has the .005 file for the missing days, so I think it is being recorded each night, but it is just a matter of being downloaded or not.

Re: System One bipap auto not saving waveform
I don't have enough evidence yet to say definitively what seems to be going on but what seems to be the case is that, when it doesn't save the waveforms, I have found they magically reappeared after I put the card in, let it sit a bit, then tried again. I have also noticed that the times waveforms (and, in fact, other data) was missing, it was when I yanked the card immediately upon shutdown of the machine.
One wonders if it takes its own sweet time to copy captured data from internal memory to the SD card.....

Re: System One bipap auto not saving waveform
While I don't have Encore Pro, I don't take my card out until an hour or so after I get up.
When I had the M Series, I could get the card as soon as I got up and get the data to the computer. I found, with the System One, there is no data yet if I take the card out as soon as I get up.
That's with Encore Viewer but it may be the same with any System One.

i have noticed too that if i get the card out soon after waking up there is no waveform. i will reinsert the card and start waiting a half hour or so to see if it appears. i wonder why it does this?
Re: System One bipap auto not saving waveform
Not to revive a mostly-dead thread, but I noted the same problem in a separate thread of mine discussing other things (viewtopic/t61561/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=61 ... 47#p576789). So far, I have six days of data from the BIPAP, but in my case, it's yet to even record a single .005 file on the SD card.
For those of you with BiPAPs who are at least getting .005 files created, would you mind posting your properties.txt file? I don't know if that's simply an informational file, or if it has parameters that the BiPAP reads when deciding what data to write to the SD card.
Like a few of you, I've been removing the card every morning, so maybe I'll skip tomorrow morning's download and see what happens.

I suspect that if you wait until past noon GMT then you might get the .005 file. I don't remove my card until after that time. Let us know ... I hope that does it for you!BrianinTN wrote: I've been removing the card every morning, so maybe I'll skip tomorrow morning's download and see what happens.

Re: System One bipap auto not saving waveform
No luck today. Every time I put the card back in, it overwrites the properties.txt file with the SupportedLogs line not listing 5. I'm starting to think, based on that and the discussion at the end of viewtopic/t61453/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=51805&p=477805, that the BiPAP S/T simply may not record the waveform data files at all (whereas the regular Auto and AVAPS models may be flaky in doing so). Bummer!
