Feel very dry while using ResMed S9

Post by sky_manchester » Fri Dec 03, 2010 4:39 am

When I use ResMed S9 overnight, I feel very dry (it was fine during the summer, however, in winter, the heater in the room is on and makes the air in the room drier than before). Are there anyone here has similar experience? Are there any suggestions to solve the problem? Thank you in advance.

Btw, I have adjucted the temprature to 30 (originally it is set to be 27 by default), but the situation is not relived.

If you are using the climateline hose and humidifier. Try changing the temperature. I had a few nights I felt very dry and I had to actually lower my temperature and it felt much better.

Thank you for your advice indeed. I have tried to adjust the temprature, unfortunately, I raise it instead of lower it... I will lower it to see...

I know its strange, you think that increasing the temperature will improve the problem. But it seems it works the other way around. I started at 78 and now I have lowered it to 74. 74 seems to work well for me. Especially now that is winter and heat is running.

Msradar65 is right. I am a newbie and just lowered mine to 75 and it was much better. Thank God for this forum!
