Hi,

The most common cause of dry mouth is leaking air out of your mouth when you sleep. What do your leak numbers look like? Do you use a chin strap or other method of keeping your mouth closed while you sleep? If this is the issue, it is very important to solve it. You effectively get no treatment or value from using your machine when you are leaking air out of your mouth.

a full face mask is designed for open mouth sleepers. dry mouth could be several things, and yes sleeping with your mouth open is one, other things that might contribute is how warm or cold your humidity is,make sure your reservoir on your humidifier is filled to the top of the line so that you do not end up breathing warn dry air, it has like a burnt taste to it. if you are on any meds taken b4 bed this could also cause it. i wake up every couple hours sou i just keep a little bottle of water by my bed so i can wet my lips and my mouth then i am good to go for awhile, i also try and breath through my nose as much as possible as long as i am awake.
