CPAP Pillow

Post by Eeyore_1 » Wed Nov 24, 2010 3:30 pm

Does anybody use a CPAP pillow? If you do you find them useful or comfortable? I don't like a high pillow and often sleep on my stomach. I haven't been able to do that since I started CPAP and even side sleeping can be a pain when my mask slips.

I have a cpap pillow and it is nice but I bought a Sobakawa cloud pillow and I love it. It is one with the little beads and it is so soft and comfy even wearing a mask. I am a side sleeper and I like this better than the cpap pillow.

I use a Regenesis buckwheat hull cpap pillow from http://www.pur-sleep.com. You can go to: http://www.pur-sleep.com/products/prodD ... rch=&page= to view it. It works on a similar concept as the bean bag chairs that we had when we were kids. I can run my hand over the pillow anywhere I like and make a spot for my mask/hose. It doesn't give you that bounce back like most pillows and so your mask stays put. Also, I am a side/stomach sleeper and this pillow is wonderful in any position. I liked it so much that I purchased one for the camper as well. For me it was a much needed comfort item.

Best regards,

Jersey Girl

I see that you have an IKEA in Alberta. Take a look at this:
http://www.ikea.com/ca/en/catalog/products/40125282.
I am a stomach/side sleeper myself and i've been going through 5-6 pillows the last couple of months and so far this has prooven the best.
Its not that high and quite soft ("memory foam") so you can sleep on you stomach on either side of the curved lump in the middle. The lump on the other side is quite good if you want to sleep on your side. I don't know the return policy of your IKEAs but here in Denmark you can always return your stuff if it doesn't live up to your expectations.
Best Regards - Daniel

I have been looking for a pillow. Stormy, did you buy yours here? https://www.buythepillow.com/?s_kwcid=T ... -331672746

If it's as good as you say this is a good price.
