Simply... one's an auto pap and the other's a cpap.

Autoset - nothing saying Escape on it, is a fully data capable APAP
Escape Autoset - is not a fully data capable APAP
Elite - is a fully data capable CPAP
Escape - is not a fully data capable CPAP

An APAP works in both auto (a range of pressures) and cpap (one single pressure)mode. A cpap machine only works on cpap mode.

I have S9 autoset. The autoset can run in auto mode with a range of pressures or in CPAP mode with set pressures. If you are looking to make a choice which machine, I would go with the autoset. You would have the flexibility to go between set pressures or a range of pressures with the machine set on auto.
