Go down to Bed, Bath & Beyond (or Linen-n-things, hey I'm not picky) and get a Novafoam pillow, get out yer electric turkey carving knife and custom make the pillow of your choice.

chicagocard

are you serious?

I've thought of shaping my own pillow but don't know how to "cut" the foam. Were you serious about an electric knife? I'm sort of worried about shredding the edges.

An electric knife works wonderfully on foam. Like it was designed to do just that.

Linda,
I am not aware of any insurance company that would pay for the PAPillow. They seem to run several years behind cpap users in knowing what works! They do pay for worthless chin straps, and COLD humidifiers...how did that happen!! They most likely could save lots of money on side-sleepers constantly buying new masks, looking for relief if they DID pay for the PAPillow.
If you have been a very good girl, perhaps you can ask Santa to bring you a new pillow, LOL, Drop a few hints to folks who ask what you want, better to get a pillow for Christmas than more knick-knacks or fuzzy house slippers!

chicagocard I'm a crafty person and as I was in a fabric store I saw they did cut the foam with what looked like an electric knife.

Good luck making your pillow.

LOL @ Guest.

(Hear me running around the house singing):

I want a P-Pap-pillow for Christmas,
Only a P-Pap-pillow will do.
Don't want those fuzzy slippers,
How many can I wear?
They're shaped like all those creatures,
I'm want to tear my hair.

(well you get the idea). lol.
