Resscan graph: Awesome success or computer glitch?

Post by TedE » Wed Nov 17, 2010 9:29 am

Hi all

Wanted to get your views on the below graph. My AHI over the last 6 months has been about 1. Only one AHI of 0 prior to the last week back on 9 April 2010 and only two or three 0.1-0.3 nights. Now, for the last week my AHI has been zero. I haven't changed any settings or done any differently.

I feel fine and can believe that I got 0s for the last 8 nights. However, I'm concerned it might be something wrong with the equipment. Any thoughts?

Thanks
TedE

Wow...you are really doing well. As a homecare repiratory therapist, when I see a report like this I rejoice for the pt!

Aside from a few mask leak issues that seem to be corrected along the way for you, I'd say that you have terrific results!

Make that 9 nights in a row.

Yeah, I'm happy with the numbers, but I was just wondering if there was any possiblity that the numbers are wrong (ie I'm having events that aren't being recorded by the machine). I mean having one 0 AHI night in 7-8 months and then nine in a row for no apparent reason seems suspicious.

Re the leak, yeah, I agree, its not an issue. I checked the daily graphs and saw that they are only one off spikes.

You're doing great, most of us would die for such results. Sleep well and prosper
