A quick query...................
I just got hold of a ResMed MIrage Liberty mask to try this afternoon as I've got stitches on the bridge of my nose and need to leave them be for a while with nothing pressing on them.
When I went to to connect the ClimateLine tube that runs from my S9 to the Liberty mask it doesn't click on as the connections are different. Slightly different diameter and just a circular piece of plastic designed for a regular tube to slip over on the Liberty, not a click-on type adaptor like I have on my Mirage Quattro Full Face mask.
Is there an adaptor I can get?
Obviously there's something as I see some people on here have the S9 ClimateLine Tube and the Liberty Mask.
Mirage Liberty Mask - Connection to ClimateLine?
Re: Mirage Liberty Mask - Connection to ClimateLine?
Sounds like you may have a quick connect coupler between your mask and hose. It makes it easier to attach/detach the mask.
The usual way to connect the mask is to insert the hard plastic tube of the mask into the rubber-like connector on the hose.
You also may be able to remove the mask side of the quick connect from the Quattro and attach it to the Liberty.

Re: Mirage Liberty Mask - Connection to ClimateLine?
It is a click-on click-off connector on my Quattro mask, designed for the fittings at the end of the S9's ClimateLine & SlimLine tubes.
The mask side of the quick connect on the Quattro doesn't fit into the Liberty.
I'm guessing there must be a quick-connect adaptor that does out there.

Re: Mirage Liberty Mask - Connection to ClimateLine?
I have the Liberty and Climate Line. I connect them by pushing the mask end of the tubing to the plastic end of the short mask tubing. Not very sophisticated but it works. Since the Climate Line tubing has a sensor on the mask end I tried connecting it directly to the mask once and it didn't seem to make any difference.

Thanks for all the replies.jbenenson wrote:I have the Liberty and Climate Line. I connect them by pushing the mask end of the tubing to the plastic end of the short mask tubing. My sleep tech advised me that there was a separate hard grey plastic bit stuck in the end of the ClimateLine tube that clicks onto the Quattro that belonged to the Quattro. I mistakenly thought it was all a one piece connector on the mask end of the ClimateLIne.
I pulled it out and then have just done as you did, slid the ClimateLine hose onto the end of the short mask tubing.
I was going to slide the ClimateLine direct onto the Liberty and leave out the short mask tubing, but it seemed to be too loose a fit. I thought it might pull off in the night with movements. The diameter of the connector on the Liberty is a bit smaller than the tube end of the "hard grey bit" that clicks onto the Quattro.
Anyway, giving the Liberty a go tonight.
Any tips you can give me with it? Trying it this afternoon with "Mask Fit" my nose looked like an inflated balloon.
I hope I can get it to work and not have too many leaks.
