Hopefully I'll receive a second hand resmed vpap adapt sv in a few days.
What diseases could I catch using a second hand machine? (Worst case scenario)
How can I disinfect a vpap adapt sv? ( I mean its inner parts, not tubing mask etc)
Some people say the microbes won't reach the machine, but some people say tar gets inside the machine when used by a smoker. If tar makes it then would microbes also do? (Maybe room smoke is absorbed by the machine air input).

Yes, that blue eyed beauty is my cat! He is a seal point, bi-color Ragdoll. I adopted him in '08 from folks who could no longer care for him. He is a joy and makes me smile each and every day.

I would think all microbes have a very limited life on the surface of a PAP machine, but a good wipe with disinfectant should fix that, however tar/smoke will be there until you remove it physically.
