Problem displaying using Encore Viewer 2.0

Post by mhorowit » Sun Oct 24, 2010 5:45 am

I've been using EV 1.0 for a year with good results. My wife recently acquired a newer machine that uses a SD card and requires EV2.0. I installed 2.0 and it works well for her, but when I try to read my data (from my smart card(different type of card reader)), the following occurs: The card is read (it shows progress on the screen). When I ask for a report, the compliance section reports back "No therapy data available". Of course I haven't read the instruction, assuming V2.0 would function just like V1.0.

Anyone seen this problem? - Mike

I did not see a problem like this when I loaded Encore Viewer 2 after having used Encore Viewer 1 for years.

I'm just bumping it up for you! Don't have an answer, sorry.

Could there be a problem with the card? Will V1.0 still read the card? Data?

V1.0 reads it quit well. - Mike

Did you add a "new user"? The software reads machine ID's and I think it might not know what to do with a card from a different machine unless you do so. Did you install 2.0 on top of 1.0 - or did you remove 1.0 first? Updating software installations many times leaves data behind that can lead things astray.

I have never used Viewer before so forgive me if I am out in the weeds here but is there something in the settings that tells the software where to find the reader? Could it be trying to read from the wrong input device?
