OT: Just for giggles....New Intellipap machine.

Post by Hospiceangel » Fri Oct 08, 2010 8:35 pm

Hi all,
Those of you that own a Intellipap machine with smartflex will understand the problem that I had last night. I purchased one of these machines online because I had to take the PR system one back to the DME. Aetna backed out of the buyout. Whole other story.

I was really tired last night when I put it together. I had put together 2 CPAP before. How hard could it be? After trying to read for about an hour and relax to go to sleep I was totally frustrated and perplexed....I had read all the reviews saying how quiet this machine was. Mine sounded like I was a 747 landing in the middle of a busy airport! I finally got (about midnight now) and cracked the books on the machine open. Nope, nothing to help there, no nothing there. Ok, there was a dvd but it's midnight and I don't want to try to concentrate on watching a video.

Finally I see a small page of pictures and notice that I had the tubing connected to the blower not the humidifier! I supposed to my poor tired brain, the sticker that said "No water here" translated to "don't even think about putting anything here!"
I noticed that's where the tubing was in the pictures....When I put the tubing there......Ahhhhh!Peace and quiet!!!!

It's quiet and I like it!!!!
Well, Now you've had your giggle for today.
Shar:)

Yes, that blue eyed beauty is my cat! He is a seal point, bi-color Ragdoll. I adopted him in '08 from folks who could no longer care for him. He is a joy and makes me smile each and every day.
