I have been using the Swift FX for two days now, and I love it:) It is not noisy, but the vent holes naturally create some exhaust sound. However, I found out that the noise can be reduced by hooking your hose upwards with some hose management system. When it is sticking downwards, or left/right, I hear more exhaust noise. And while listening to yourself when you first put it on (I'm sure you will do that), try to breath slow and calm. Deep and rapid breathing can be deceiving.

BTW get yourself some Lanoline like Lansinoh, for your nostrils. It eliminates irritation;)

As others have reported here, I think that the Swift FX only makes noise when the air from the vent holes hits your blankets or pillow. So, I just send my short hose to the side a bit and the vent points in another direction, so as not to hit the blankets.

Let us know how you like your Swift once you receive it.

All the best,

Jersey Girl

That is what i love about the mask i have. I have a swift fx for her though and i don't know if it is different' i'm on a pressure of 10 and it isn't loud at all. Matter of fact i have to put my hand in front of the xport to make sure it is working it is so quiet. Like i said in my previous post i bought mine at http://resmedswiftfx.com and was very happy with the service....

Well, I hate to say this but the Swift FX is very quiet used with my s9 auto but makes more noise than I like with my PR One auto. I don't know why but it does. My wife even noticed it.

I have the PR S1 auto and in my opinion, it's the conducted sound in the short slinky hose that makes it so noisy. A hose cover on the short hose helps, and keeping it off my pillow.

I've been using the FX for about 2 months now, and it seems very much quieter all of the sudden this past week or so. Nothing's changed, unless my hearing is going

Hi,

today I have get ma Swift FX. I changed the pillows from M to S, so the mask is sitting perfect.

And then the test with an S9.

The mask is absolutly soft and absolute no leak to found. And I do not feel the mask. Great!

Today night I will have my first testnight with this fine mask.

It is way quiet. I admit, this is my first and only mask that I have used but my husband does not notice the noise at all.

Oh, I had a good night! Yes, really.

The mask is sitting perfekt, no leak out. And I was lying on the sides, there is nothing which would disturb.

In fact: It was a good decision to buy this mask.
