I recived my machine Auto ResMed S9 - Swift FX for her - H51 humidifier -
Pressure 10
I love this machine and mask - the machine is so quiet! The pillows are very soft and easy to wear.
However .. they gave me a chin strap to wear with the mask - Not a Fan! I had to wake up and take it off last night - it was obnoxious! I sleep well with my mouth closed and I would know if my mouth was open believe me! So took the chin strap off
put the mask back on and went to sleep.
I did dream colorful dreams last night -and this morning when I woke up I felt alert - not so foggy.
My stomach did hurt a bit though .. I am thinking from the air pressure.
I took a nap with it today - I think I am going to get used to it very easy.
I am pleased that it comes in a case that I can travel with and will not be charged a fee for it:)
It would be even nicer if the water came in a bottle like Spring water does .. and a place to keep a bottle in the case..
it wouldnt be good for Air Travel per say but none the less would be nice.
I dont think they make distilled water in 10 oz bottles though.
Overall so far - so good.

I had the same thought. I looked all over Walmart for some kind of bottle that I could seal, and I didn't come up with anything. I happen to be a Diet Coke drinker, and I found that Diet Coke bottles make a perfect water bottle for traveling. I found the little 8 oz bottles. A diet soda is nice because the bottle is not sticky and it rinses out easily. An 8 oz bottle works well for 2 nights. The bottles are sturdy and they seal very well. You can seal the bottles into a zip lock bag for extra protection against spilling in case you are paranoid. When flying, I put one or two in my checked luggage. That gets me through short trips, and gives me a few days to find a Walmart to buy a jug of water when I am on longer trips.
Congrats on getting started, and welcome to the forum. Just be sure to check your mask leak data. I found that I could keep my mouth closed at first. But as I got more rested, I couldn't do it anymore, and I would lose pressure. A chin strap helped for a while, but since I am on a high pressure (13/20), it would blow out my lips anyway. Duct tape to the rescue (actually, 3M surgical tape, but duct tapes sounds more fun).

Oh man, had a past experience with duct tape on skin, not pretty. lol
Way to go kb1, glad it's going well for you. Yes, figure out what works for you to sleep comfortably and track it in your data.
I know of what you speak, traveling with the distilled water. My last trip I just used an empty standard bottle water bottle. Did the trick.
Wishing you many more colourful, happy dreams! Sleep well!
