AeioMed CPAP Unit PN 100382

Post by Nightegale » Tue Sep 28, 2010 8:16 pm

Hi all,
A few years back, I got an AEIOmed Everest CPAP Unit. I didn't like because the pressure fluctuation when I exhaled. My first machine was a Remstar Plus that I love. They don't make it anymore. I have never liked the Everest, because I'm so used to the simple "one pressure on inhale and exhale" machine I have. Does anyone know if the Everest has a setting so that the pressure doesn't drop off when I'm exhaling? I just want a continuous flow all of the time.

IF I could make that change, then I could use this nice little machine. By the way, the sleep clinic that gave me the unit is no longer in business. I know that I could send the unit into the manufacturer, but I'd rather find out here first.\

Thanks!

Is there a model name or number written on it?

The everest cpap unit has been updated -

I own an Everest 2 - I have no exhale relief on mine.

I don't think they make an Everest with exhale relief so I don't know what the "drop off" is that you feel. Perhaps the machine is defective?
