playing the DME game with ammo

Post by chunkyfrog » Tue Sep 28, 2010 11:23 am

My hubby just got a call from the DME.
They said they have a S9 Escape ready for him and 3 masks to try on (including the Quattro that he used during that sleep study--that was pure misery.)
Well, hubby kicked behind--big time.
He made them call our PCP back to get the RIGHT prescription, (for an S9 Autoset) and he will have more masks from which to choose.
Yesss! Huge kudos to all of you guys on this forum.

Woohoo! Self-advocacy strikes again!!
Yes, that blue eyed beauty is my cat! He is a seal point, bi-color Ragdoll. I adopted him in '08 from folks who could no longer care for him. He is a joy and makes me smile each and every day.

Congratulations, they hate it when "we" are informed! HE gets to laugh all the way to the bank. Not them. Ha! HA! I absolutely love it. Thanks for sharing that, I bet that made many out here feel all warm and fuzzy inside. jlk

Good for you! this is good...it's wise to be informed and proactive...after all...we're the ones who suffer when we don't get informed and speak up!

Troublemaker You're sending them outside their 'comfort zone'.

Relating to the same topic, here is a link I found useful: (hope I got it right)
Warning: this link will take you into the 'forbidden zone'.

http://www.resmed.com/us/products/products.html?nc=home

After you are there, click on 'introducing S9'
--and then click on 'specifications'
