Congratulations! Just don't be disappointed if it takes a little time to adjust. Hang in there.

Hi,

I expect a full report in the morning. I was afraid to use my machine the first night that I had it, and I lasted about 2 hours the 2nd night. I dare you to try to do better than I did. Actually, it isn't so bad. Despite being scared of the thing at first, my BiPAP machines are now my two best friends...one that I keep at home, and one that I travel with.

The first night I used it for a little while before bedtime while watching TV. Not so bad . . . Then I told myself I only had to use it for a couple of hours the first night. Made me feel like even more of a winner when I kept it on all night.

Congratulations on getting through all the hoops! I brought my machine home like it was going to be a new member of the family, so excited. I hope things go well for you tonight. I want to hear how it goes.

sorry for the delay. Got busy in the shop and now I can do what I want.

Last night was the first night in 3 years that I was looking forward to going to bed. I usually get up 4-6 times a night and sleep only 4-5 hours before giving up and getting up. Only to feel as though I worked a full day, unrested, wore out, my head felt as though it was thick and foggy and have gone 15 rounds with a pro boxer.

SO.....at 10:30 pm I went to bed doned the mask like a semi-pro turned on the machine and layed down. The next thing I remember was that it was 6:00 am. i had not moved or goy up. I felt rested and wide awake and clear headed. I had no problem with the mask even though my DME thought I might with my mustache.
I actually feeling like working today and the real test will be it I don't take a nap or two before going to bed.

The one thing I did notice is that the elbow on the mask squeaks a little when it moves. May need to lube it with some REM-OIL (ha ha) . Any suggestions,

more later

That's awesome good news! Sounds like it will go very well for you! Congrats! With any luck your getting up several times in the night is a thing of the past...
