calgurl -

We have 2, 8 yrs old now, rescued by the vet and brought home as babies. They were so cute, poor things, hiding under the sofa for a week. Amazing how different in personality they are. The female is bloody clever but moody. Her brother is really skittish but you can do anything to him. I will post them in my avatar when i get a chance!

My partner's family all love cats - among the 6 siblings and their parents we have in total about 11 or 12 cats in the extended family, plus some strays that always stay for a while. No dogs!
PR System One APAP, 10cm
Activa nasal mask + mouth taping w/ 3M micropore tape + Pap-cap + PADACHEEK + Pur-sleep
Hosehead since 31 July 2007, yippie!

Yep, we have two cats who own us....LOL. Callie is the calico (of course) who is very easy going and docile. She is 10 years old. She only meows when hungry and as you can see that is almost ALL of the time....LOL. Savannah is 6 years old, solid white and has mitten paws on her front feet. She "talks" all the time and has a lot more personality quirks than Callie. They are total opposites of each other.

Good for you MARS. Although I don't have a cat avatar and any avatar, we had the best cat in the world named Muffin who passed away two months ago at about 16 years of age. She was the sweetest cat. Never scratched or bit. Guys can love cats and be proud of them as well.

As you requested...................

Dusty, my British Blue, usually only appears as my avatar when I go on holiday, and she takes over for a while. But she is a very obliging cat. Bonnie, my ginger tabby, hasn't been my avatar yet, she is still learning the ropes.

And isn't Dusty beautiful

cheers

Mars

Edit: Dusty has now been replaced by Bonnie as my Avatar - see later post.

My cats would take exception to your claim. So does my avatar.

I played trombone all through high school. I've had cats since I was a wee lad. My wife and I have three now, not including the two in our foster care...

Our two cats adopted us from the kitterling protection program. If you knew more about them, they would have to kill you.
In the night.
By sitting on your mask.
And they would purr while doing it.

My cat (domestic feral) just brought me a giant packrat and left it on the livingroom floor in front of the tv..

Its the thought that counts.. poor packrat

I gave him broiled salmon for dinner, guess he was saying thanks.. cuz he usually eats everything he catches..

Steve Jobs knew what he was doing when he named the latest version of Mac as Snow Leopard (and it works!).
