HELP! Mask Trouble

Post by ladybug4 » Fri Sep 17, 2010 2:09 pm

I for the life of me cannot get adjusted to my mask. My 1st mask was from Fisher&Paskel, and I found it to be very flimsy; it leaked all of the time. Now I have a Mirage Quattro, and the silicone stings the skin on my face. It feels very sticky and I hate sticky anything. I am very frustrated and irritated and do not know what mask would be good for me.

Does anyone know of any good masks that I could check into I will appreciate any and all advice on this.

I am using a full face mask size small.

thank you very much

Call Karen at http://padacheek.com/ and order a mask liner. It will keep the mask from sticking to your face. You won't believe how much this will help.

For awhile I was using the disposable Remzzzs mask liners to good effect with my Quattro, but when I still got watery eyes, I ordered a more permanent mask liner from Padacheek. It's great with preventing leaks and it is comfortable. The only I had to do was cut the opening a bit to allow more air in, no problem. Definitely worth a shot.

WOW, thank you for this great advice. Now I have something tangible to work on and the correct names so I won't feel like such a dummy when asking for help with these products. Cool

I have and use the Quattro...the stickiness helps make the seal. I use citrus wipes each day to clean the silicone. I noticed that if I don't wipe down the seal to remove facial oils, I have trouble with leaks at night. My soution to leaks is to clean your face at night and to use wipes on the silicone daily.
