Tired of being tired I an going to try again after quitting for 9 months. One and a half months of trying BPAP I quit. The machine made me more tired, not less. Probably too much messing around with the machine and too impatient. My sleep study had me at AHI = 35 wit predominately centrals.
I looked at my old post and set the Auto 25 to match the script of 9/14 with PS of 5 in Auto mode and increased TiMax to 3. I plan to touch NOTHING on the machine for three weeks (per a suggestion on one of my posts). Last night my AHI was 20. I noticed that I would wake up not breathing, the usual.

Hi, can you fill in the Profile on your "user control" page (top left link) so we can all see immediately what equipment you have (full name and model) plus the same for your mask(s) and pressure settings? Then we can try to help. It's very possible that your mask was not fitted properly, or you had the wrong size and leaks occurred, just as an open mouth while sleeping will lose all the 'pap' air and a full face mask might be needed. Lots of possibilities, but it's great that you've come back and there are lots of people here who can help.

If you are still waking up when using the machine, then you are not getting the right treatment. Since you state that you have mostly centrals, that means that you probably have a very tricky case. When is the last time you saw your sleep doctor? Unless it was very recently, then it is probably time to get a new appointment. You probably need a new sleep study. I'd suggest going to a cardiac center at a major hospital, and working with a board certified sleep doctor. This is probably not the kind of case where you can use a gas station sleep clinic or a Holiday Inn type sleep center.
