Used Oximeter Last Night.... question
Last night was a great night's sleep. Not the longest...only 7.5 hrs, but it was peaceful and restful. My AHI was 2.0 and I used my recording oximeter for the first time. During my sleep study my O2 was below 88% for quite a while and fell to a low of 76%. Therapy has erased all that if last night's O2 report is any indication! NO time below 88%..... in fact the average low was 91.2 and a basal of 93.9. What I don't understand on these O2 reports are the 'events.' What does that really mean? See this summary:

Yes, that blue eyed beauty is my cat! He is a seal point, bi-color Ragdoll. I adopted him in '08 from folks who could no longer care for him. He is a joy and makes me smile each and every day.
Re: Used Oximeter Last Night.... question
Events are, loosely speaking, changes in your O2 or pulse that deviate (in a statistically significant way) from normal.
The page you showed gives you the actual definition for both O2 and pulse events under "Analysis Parameters."

Well, DUH! Thanks..... I am rested, but, obviously, blind!

Re: Used Oximeter Last Night.... question
Your report looks about like mine, except mine is lower and sometimes dips below 88. In my case my daytime is lower too. Jim

Another hint:
The little vertical dashes below each graph indicate when an "event" occurred.

Re: Used Oximeter Last Night.... question
PS The definition of "events" is set by the company, but can be changed by the user (in the tool kit icon on the lower left). Also note the little grey bar at the end of each of your graphs. That's the time the unit was recording without receiving any data (you had taken the sensor off). In my case, I had a number of these "dropouts" during the night, causing the graph to gyrate wildly. Taping the sensor to my hand helped some. Yours actually looks pretty reliable.
The takeaway: your sleep study data may not directly relate to the home data.
