What does a hose cover do?

I read about these hose covers people use but have not seen why they are used, can someone fill me in please?

A hose cover protects you from rainout. If your room is cooler than the humidity coming through your hose you will get condensation...that's what we call rainout. A hose cover also is aesthetically nice, it feels nicer to have fleece touch your skin than the plastic hose......it also protects the hose from any hard surface. There are many different types of hose covers out there, just do a search on hose covers and you will see the nice ones you can buy or the many that we have designed and made ourselves.

Hose covers are also a good idea if you have cats who like to attack moving objects during the night.

It knocks down the sound a little for me. I also like that I don't have a cold plastic hose in the bed next to me.

Mine is just for bed comfort. Easy cozying up to hose with its pink fleecy snugglehose cover. Even my freaky cat snuggles up with it! She's normally scared by anything new and out of the routine.
