Breas Isleep I20 - how to check logs?
Re: Breas Isleep I20 - how to check logs?
Does anybody know if the memory card needs to have some special label or format?
I have a 1 GB 3.3V Compact Flash card and have tried both FAT and FAT32 format but the device always says "Error with memory card".

Have no idea what memorycards the isleep wants or which format it needs to be in, i use a 8Mb compactflash and a digitalcamera from 2001 as cardreader for the computer.
The files takes up less then 6Mb.
Casio

CF-8

Hi Tjabo,
Thanks for your reply. Wonder where to find such small compact flash cards. Minimum in the stores is 64 MB for a few dollars. I'll give that one a go.
Kind regards,
Ace

Check what filesystem you are using, FAT is what i have(just checked) and it may not work with FAT32 or NTFS.
Re: Breas Isleep I20 - how to check logs?
Thanks for checking but I had tried FAT and FAT32 so I guess 1 or 2 GB is too big for the iSleep, I'l get a smaller card and try with that.
BTW: Do you have to download the data daily? Or is the device capable of storing the logs for a week or longer period?

Re: Breas Isleep I20 - how to check logs?
The data does not need to be downloaded on either a daily basis or weekly basis, im in the beginning of my third year with the unit and all data from day1 is still there.
Tried 2 other cf-cards.
Sandisk extreme IV 2Gb(esp technology) with filesystem FAT and it failed.
Sandisk 128Mb with filesystem FAT and it worked.

Hi Tjabo,
Thanks for the info! I'll get a smaller card and it should work then.
Kind regards,

Hi,
any ideas what the various pressure values are about?
In the software I see different values for median pressure (P) and then there are values for P95, P90, P85 and P80. What's this about? Any ideas?

Re: Breas Isleep I20 - how to check logs?
Figured it out by myself. It's the percentile average pressure (so P95 showing the average pressure for 95% of the time)

I see where the machine can be seen on GE's medical site.
Somebody from GE would be well-advised to chime in and offer a little information--or a number where. . .
hint, hint. We welcome you. Please speak up! The price is tempting and it's really cute; but-- no information?

Re: Breas Isleep I20 - how to check logs?
I can really recommend the machine. It's quiet (26db only) and easy to use.
It has a CPAP-mode and a so called "iMode" where minimum and maximum pressure are defined and the device adjusts the pressure as required smoothly.
It also has a ramp-mode which helps a lot of people to fall asleep better.
Finally it has a clock and alarm-clock built in.
OK, it does not win any design contests but overall it's a nice device!
The 20i also has a slot for PC-Cards so you can transfer the monitoring data to a PC to analyze with the software "iSleep PC Software" (but it seems that Breas is reluctant to give that software to patients.)
To make it complete there's an RJ45 jack for an SpO2-meter (called iOxy) which also is not available for patients.

Re: Breas Isleep I20 - how to check logs?
Hallo everybody.
I am also an owner of the isleep 20 and would be much interested in checking the logs with my own software. So far I could not find the software. Does any body have a working copy to share?
Thanks

Re: Breas Isleep I20 - how to check logs?
From time to time i get pm's regarding this thread and yes i did found the software for the machine, dont forget to include a valid emailadress that can handle 10MB attachments when contacting me about the program.
Re: Breas Isleep I20 - how to check logs?
Hello,
I too am an owner/user of the Breas Isleep I20 ... and yes I have a problem in getting the software. The official statement is: for medical personnel only. Not for end users. Strange, because it could be a good way to stay motivated , seeing the results etc. bringing the whole thing within 'control'.
So If you could help me in getting the software ... I would be very grateful.
I tried to reach Tjabo (above) by PM, but have not been successful yet.
Thanks in advance,
Swoko
