Data to SD card problem
Data to SD card problem
My s9 has stopped transmitting data to my sd card. I have no data on the card for the last four nights. The machine shows the data for the previous night and I can read the the sd card in rescan just fine but I have no data beyond Sep 1.

Re: Data to SD card problem
Do you have another card to try? The card you are using may have become corrupted...
Yes, that blue eyed beauty is my cat! He is a seal point, bi-color Ragdoll. I adopted him in '08 from folks who could no longer care for him. He is a joy and makes me smile each and every day.
Re: Data to SD card problem
I will have to go buy another one. I don't believe it is corrupt because it is still readable. The reason I asked is because I didn't know whether there was a setting in the machine that disabled saving to the sd card.

Re: Data to SD card problem
It sounds like the SD card might be faulty or just badly inserted. I would first take the SD card out of the S9 give it 30 seconds, wipe the copper contact points on the SD card with a cloth then insert it back into the machine.
You should see reading card data. If you get an error at this point, it maybe the card is corrupted, in which case you could place it in a card reader and attach to a PC and run Scandisk and see if there are any errors and fix them.
You might have to erase the card if it's corrupted, or the S9 might actually tell you it can't read the card when you re-insert it and ask you to format it in the S9. If it asks to do that, I'd let it do it.
You could also try another SD card, they're cheap and easy to pick up at most electrical/computer stores.
Thanks
Dave

Re: Data to SD card problem
Does the SD card have a write-protect tab?
Re: Data to SD card problem
Thank you all for your help.Every thing is back to normal now. I have all the data that I was missing. It must have been a glitch with the card.

Re: Data to SD card problem
I checked the data and it appears that the summary data and graphs are available from Aug 18th to Sep 4th but detailed data for Sep 2nd and 3rd are not available. Detailed information for Sep 4th is.
