s9 elite question
ok i thought i set it up properly to check my leakage rate, AHI in the morning upon waking. when i hit the info button all i can see is the hrs used last night, AHI, mask fit face (which is normally happy) and that's it. is it possible to set it so that i can see the leakage rate? the only way i have found so far is to take out the SD card and run it through my computer through the software. i don't want to have to take the card out every day to check leakage rate. did i miss doing something when in clinical menu? anyone know? thanks

To get the ResMed S9 machine to display leak data (along with AHI, etc.) in the LCD window, set "Sleep Quality - ON" in the clinical setup menu.
If the correct mask type is selected, the ideal leak rate with a ResMed machine is 0.0.
With a ResMed S9 machine, the leak rate should not be above 24.0 L/min (liters per [/b]minute[/b].)
note to users of the older S8 machines: ResMed S8 machines figure it in liters per [/b]second[/b]. With an S8 machine, the leak rate should be below .40 L/s.

Re: s9 elite question
As far as i know i do have the sleep quality on, which is why i can finally see the AHi. it wasn't on when i brought the machine home. that's why i was wondering if it was possible to see the leakage on the screen? with the auto you can but the elite i have no idea.

Re: s9 elite question
Are you wanting to know how to turn on sleep quality?
Re: s9 elite question
At least on my machine -- an S9 Auto, I have to turn Sleep Quality On and then I have to still be in Clinician Mode to see the Sleep Report which lists my AHI and Leak Rate. In patient mode, I just see my AHI and a smiley face or a frowney face.

Re: s9 elite question
Send me your email address by PM and I will send you the clinician manual if you don't already have it. And what the heck are you going to do with all of this information? I just have to ask my wife about my leak data and she tells me how many times I turned on the ensuite light during the night and woke her up. Sufficient leak data for me. I don't ask anymore. Now, what would REALLY be handy is pulse oximetry data for the night! I'd like to know if I stop breathing when my wife whacks me over the head for creating that leak data.
