cpap vs bipap

Post by rascal » Wed Aug 25, 2010 9:23 am

My question is there is a difference in a bipap mask and a regular cpap mask. I have tried a full face mask but I had too many leaks. Although with the full face mask, exhaling seems to be a little harder but the mask works better.

I am using a respironics system one bipap running pressures of 22/17.

Thanks

There is no such thing as a bipap mask, as far as I know.

Did you mean the difference between a bipap MACHINE and a cpap MACHINE?

Hi
By your statement I think you answered my question. I really did not think there was a difference but I was not sure.

Thanks very much for the reply.
