Downloading sd card on ResScan 3.11
Downloading sd card on ResScan 3.11
I am having trouble downloading data from sd card. I have card pluged into card reader that plugs to the usb connector on my computer. Every time I hit the Download data button it gives a error message saying there is no devices detected. Has anyone had this problem and how do I fix it. Any help appreciated

What OS are you running on your computer? Are you able to read other SD cards in the reader or is just the Resmed card a problem? Did a driver disk come with the card reader?

I have Windows XP PRO. The card reader I purchased at radio shack. No driver with it.

Did you go to control panel/setting/add new hardware and see if XP can find your card reader and a driver for it. Also, you might try it in a different usb port.

Does the reader with the SD card in it show up on your computer with a drive letter assigned to it? XP pro should have given you some kind of message when the usb adapter was plugged in indicating that a new device was found. Maybe the adapter is bad, do you have any other SD card to put into the adapter to rule out the possibility of a defective adapter?jumbulias wrote:Well I tried that and I still get the same error message. Re: Downloading sd card on ResScan 3.11
Hello I finally figured it out. I had a floppy disk that I had left in the tower. I took it out and it downloaded the data. It must have been blocking the sd card some how. Thanks for all the help Brett
